Shipping & Handling
Once your order is placed, GoodsDirect2U aims to have your order processed and ready for dispatch within 24 hours of receipt of payment (Monday to Friday). It may take a couple of days for your payment to appear, especially payments made over the weekend or public holidays.
Smaller items are sent by Castle Parcel or Post Haste and larger items/ heavier items by PBT.
Parcel Delivery Times:
- Christchurch: 1-2 days.
- South Island: 1-3 days.
- North Island: 2-5 days.
Please note these are only estimates and due to deliveries being made by a third party we cannot and do not guarantee these times. For more accurate time frames we suggest you contact the courier directly or follow the track and trace details sent to your email after dispatch.

Please note we cannot deliver to PO Boxes.
Please remember to provide a phone number so we can pass it on to the courier if there is an issue.
Rural / Non Urban Delivery
Rural Delivery can take an additional 1-2 days.
Rural / Non Urban delivery is based off what our couriers Post Haste, Castle Parcel or PBT Transport class your address as, unfortunately we do not decide what is and what isn’t, these extra charges are compulsory and passed on to you at our cost.
If your address is rural / non urban please pay the extra charges or provide us with a alternative delivery address which is a urban address, alternatively most of the time you can pickup from the main city freight depots to avoid these charges, if you wish to do this please make a note in the delivery instructions. If you’re unsure please ask. Failure to do so will result in a delay in receiving your order, as the goods will not shipped until rural delivery charges have been paid.
On occasion courier / transport companies cannot deliver to some areas they classify as remote, in this instance the courier / transport company may nominate an address the item can be collected from or may offer to deliver for an additional charge.

Signature Required
All parcels sent are signature required except if you are rural. If you want the parcel left somewhere, please make a note of it in the delivery instructions.
Free Shipping
- Electrical Offer: Spend a total of $150 or more on electrical items and get Free Shipping. (Excluding fans, lights, solid & flexible conduit, security cameras, smart door locks, solar panels & some generators).
- All Hyundai, Metabo, Puma, Tooline, Voylet & Wahoo Products have Free Shipping to non rural addresses or collect from freight depot.

Order Missing or Damaged?
All items must be completely unpacked and inspected before being signed for, if the item is damaged, you must sign the signature as damaged and the purchaser must let GoodsDirect2UÂ Ltd know within 24 hours. Failing to do so may result in the loss of right of remedy.
If you have placed an order and believe it has gone missing you must notify us within 7 days of payment of the order.
Returns
If you should need to return a product please do so within 7 days of receiving your order. All returns must be in the same condition that they were received and in the original packaging. It is your responsibility to pay for all shipping costs (including if shipping is Free you will be required to pay for the normal shipping cost, deducted off credit) plus a 15% restocking fee.
Returns must be for a genuine reason, reading the description wrong is not valid reason.
Incorrect Shipping Orders
If you have selected a shipping option that does not apply to you, GoodsDirect2U reserves the right to refuse or cancel the order, or charge for the correct shipping. You will be notified if shipping costs will be extra to what you had selected.
