Trying to compare electric fence units accurately? Some suppliers say 40km and others with the same specifications say 250km, length is subjective to resistance on the fence and multi strand or single strand, thickness, output joules and voltage. While length is very much subjective and 3 different sellers could have all different advertised lengths depending on how tested, for more accuracy we recommend comparing Output Joules and Voltage to get an overall power rating.
